President Truman to the British Prime Minister (Churchill)

Washington, June 6, 1945.

58. Thank you for your encouraging message no. 67⁸³ expressing your concurrence with the efforts Harry Hopkins has made in Moscow to get on with the Polish business.

I am repeating in my next message⁸⁴ my reply to Harry Hopkins’ latest communications in regard to this matter. I sincerely hope that you concur in my suggestions. I would appreciate receiving any comments you may care to make.
