Pravda for December 20th cites a statement by Edward Carter44 to the effect that during 1944 Russian War Relief intends to send supplies valued at 21 million dollars to the Soviet Union against a value of 16 million dollars this year.45 It states that in the first 10 months of 1943 various medical supplies, clothing and foodstuffs to a value of 10¼ million dollars have been shipped to the Soviet Union.
