- In reply to an inquiry which we made today, Yoshizawa stated that there is no basis whatever for the Associated Press story. He added that the Japanese Government not only has no intention of reopening the negotiations but that it looks forward to publication at an early date of a press communiqué acceptable to both Governments.

- The Associated Press correspondent declines to disclose to us the source of his story.
