My 167, August 9, 7 p.m. Chinese permanent delegate has addressed a further communication to Secretary General containing additional information concerning alleged use of poison gas by Japanese troops in China. Communication states that after the first use of gas at Matang gas has continued to be used on many occasions up to and including present drive on Hankow. Note asks that communication be circulated to members of Council, Assembly and Advisory Committee.
