In accordance with suggestions contained in your telegram No. 1, January 12, 5 p.m.,⁹ I had occasion today to informally discuss Central American developments with President Jimenez and Foreign Minister Pacheco. Both expressed delight at President Sacasa’s activities and promised fullest Costa Rican cooperation. Repeated to Managua.
