323. Department’s 312 via Paris.8 French and Japanese Governments have expressed concurrence in this Government’s proposal to [Page 924] wind up Interallied Committee and Technical Board on October 31st. Please draw matter to attention of Foreign Office and endeavor to expedite its reply.
Referring to Department’s 209, July 17, 3 p.m.,10 inform Foreign Office and repeat to Paris as Department’s No. 339, that Department has just been advised of Italian Government’s concurrence in proposals outlined in original memorandum.
