The French Ambassador (Jusserand) to the Secretary of State

Washington, June 30, 1922.

Mr. Secretary of State: With special reference to Your Excellency’s note of April 22, last,²⁴ I have, by order of my Government, the honor to inform you that Mr. Parmentier, Director of the General Handling of Funds of the Ministry of Finance, has been commissioned to enter into relations with the American Commission on War Foreign Debts. He will shortly sail for the United States on board La Savoie.

He will be accompanied by Mr. Le Neveu, Secretary of Embassy, assigned for duty at the Ministry of Commerce.
