Mr. Secretary of State: Referring to my note of the 16th instant, I have, by order of my Government, the honor to forward herewith to Your Excellency the agenda of the Conference of Genoa, approved at Cannes by the Supreme Council at its forenoon session of January 11, 1922:

- Examination of methods for the putting into operation of the principles contained in the resolutions approved at Cannes by the Supreme Council on January 6, 1922;
- 2)
- Establishing the peace of Europe on a firm basis;
- 3)
- Conditions necessary to restore confidence without prejudice to the existing treaties;
- 4)
- Financial questions:
- a)
- Circulation;
- b)
- Central banks and banks of issue;
- c)
- Public finances with respect to the reconstruction work;
- d)
- Exchanges;
- e)
- Organization of public and private credit;
- 5)
- Economic and commercial questions:
- a)
- Facilities and guarantees for the import and export trade;
- b)
- Guarantees of law and legal practice for the resumption of commerce;
- c)
- Protection of industrial, literary and artistic property;
- d)
- Consular laws and regulations;
- e)
- Admission and status of foreigners with respect to their engaging in business;
- f)
- Technical assistance in the work of industrial reconstruction.
