Bevan, Tampico, telegraphs that General Peláez, commanding Villa forces Vera Cruz, has renewed demand 50,000 pesos from Penn Mex Fuel Company, American corporation, and upon refusal comply Peláez shut down company’s plant.

Request Villa instruct General Peláez withdraw demand and cease interfering company affairs.
