Austin, Tex., September 28, 1912.

Your telegram asking the consent of the Governor of Texas for a brigade of Mexican Federal troops to enter Texas from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, and proceed to Del Rio and Marathon is received. Under the escort and regulations mentioned by you I have no objection, but we will send rangers to escort them also.
