267. Emb Paris reports French FonOff withholding comment on views on recognition new Korean Govt set forth Depcirtel July 10 1 p. m. [a. m.] pending receipt Paul-Boncour’s recommendations, by which it is understood FonOff will be guided. Considerable importance may therefore be expected to attach to views which Paul-Boncour communicates to Paris in this regard.2
