The Gazette of the Supreme Soviet for July 23 carried a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet dated July 14 extending the decree of June 22 (Embassy’s 2452, July 6 regarding the right of certain persons of Polish nationality in the Soviet Union to [opt?] for Polish citizenship) to inhabitants of regions transferred by the Soviet Union into the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic.
