The Secretary General has just told me that the Foreign Office last week had information to the effect that Germany would invade Denmark and Norway—and that this information was specific to the point of setting the invasion for this week—the same source of information adding that these two operations would be followed by a large scale offensive on the western front “possibly through Belgium and Holland”.
