As he has also requested me not to report on recent military events without first talking things over with him I am holding my 49660 and 49761 for the present. Department’s 324, July 27.62 Am making preparations to move to Belgian Legation at a moment’s notice. I have requested and have received sentries for our present Legation and the American hospitals.
