My telegram No. 30, March 23, 11 a.m.20 I am this afternoon officially informed by note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Conner’s appointment as American judge at Cairo and requested to take the necessary steps in order that he may reach his post as early as possible. The Minister for Foreign Affairs asks to be informed of the date of Conner’s arrival in Egypt.
