107. Reference Embassy’s 101, October 29, noon. Following telegram has been received from Yunnanfu:
“October 29, 3 p.m. Referring to Hankow’s October 26, noon. Provincial Government believes that the situation is not serious. Tatsienlu garrisoned by more than 10,000 Hunan and Szechwan troops. Red objective is believed to be Sichang and Anning valley.
Repeated to Nanking, Hankow.”
