41. Following from American Consul General at Harbin,
“January 11, 3 p.m.
- 1.
- January 9th. General Lin68 crossed border to Iman where interned by Soviet military. Japanese military have demanded his return. They now possess Muling coal mines also Mishan.
- 2.
- January 8th Suifenho garrison took oath of allegiance to Manchukuo.
- 3.
- Japanese operations are continuing against General Wang Teh-lin reported to be at Tungning.
- 4.
- Whereabouts General Ting Chao unknown to this office.
- 5.
- I leave this afternoon for Manchuli.”
