317. Following from Reuter, Changchun, March 8th:
“The ex-Emperor Hsuan Tung arrived here by special train at 3 p.m. today and was greeted at the station by the Japanese Consul General, General Ma Chan-shan and others, who bowed three times as the ex-Emperor alighted followed by his consort and two other ladies. The ‘Regent Designated’ immediately proceeded to the municipal headquarters, which he is occupying as his residence.”
