Sir: The Department has been informed that the Cuban Government may make inquiry of the Embassy concerning the service rendered the United States Post Office Department by the Pan American Airways under its contracts to transport the United States mails. Should the Cuban Government make such inquiry you may say that the Post Office Department reports that the service rendered by the Pan American Airways under its various contracts is very satisfactory.
