44. My 43, February 10, 11 a.m. Ministry of Communications yesterday sent a strong telegram to the Chinese delegates opposing alleged French project of international control of wireless in China or any interference with Federal contract also declaring Chinese Government’s support policy equal opportunity and repudiation monopolistic discriminatory clauses British and Japanese wireless contracts. Ministry Communications requests that American delegates consent to confer privately with Chinese delegate on the subject of wireless communications with a view to joint action in the face of British, Japanese and French policies.
