Resolution to remit remainder of the indemnity passed the Senate last summer.
It is understood that Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives favorably disposed, but Chairman of the Committee believes that chances of passage of the resolution through the House would be enhanced if action should be deferred until December session of Congress.
