At interview this afternoon for that purpose Curzon states that French sentiment seems hostile to Anglo-Persian agreement and [Page 700] French Minister at Teheran disposed to foment dissatisfaction, in which he hopes for assistance of American Minister. Requests mat latter be put on guard and asked to preserve friendly attitude.
