1675. Your despatch 3254, May 15.⁵⁰ Please reiterate to Danish Red Cross that American authorities in Siberia hold no Bolshevik prisoners whatever. United States Government has no objection to Danish Red Cross purchasing in this country medicines for needy population in European Russia. In humanitarian matter of this kind this Government could not properly object to action proposed through neutral agency such as Danish Red Cross. In these circumstances endeavor to secure release of Kalamatiano.
