The Department has received from the Dolores Mines Co., El Paso, a request2 that you take charge $51,000 worth silver and gold bullion [Page 740] and harbor in consulate until it can be legally exported. They have been informed that under existing conditions Department can not authorize or permit you to receive on deposit bullion or money.
