Sir: I inclose, with office copy, a letter¹ addressed by the President to Her Royal Highness, Marie Adelaide, acknowledging the letter of June 18 last, by which Her Royal Highness announced that, having attained her majority, she had taken possession of the Sovereign Power of the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg.

You will forward the copy to the Foreign Office of Luxemburg and deliver the original in the manner most agreeable to Her Royal Highness.
