You will visit the Pedernales region, carefully investigate and report fully, bearing in mind the desirability of restoring the status quo at the time of acceptance of the good offices of this Government, which would imply occupation by the Dominican civil authorities of the section east of Pedernales as well as certain points between Lake Fondo and the headwaters.
