President Arosemena assures me that he desires supervision of the elections to the extent necessary to ensure fairness.

A letter requesting supervision of registration by the United States has been written to the President and sent to the Minister of Panama at Washington by the Committee of the Patriotic Union. This supervision is desired as soon as possible.
