Conference with Orozco June 4. He totally denied responsibility for threats against Americans made in the recent manifesto reported in my May 29, noon; he made apologies therefor, promised to rectify all pending complaints. Little to be expected therefrom, however.

Rebels announce intention to negotiate a loan $10,000,000 (Mexican) New York. Unlikely story, intended to cheer up partisans.

All Americans prepared to leave if danger appears imminent.
