Mr. Furniss reports that Government officers admit that a strong undercurrent is developing against the administration and he doubts the ability of the Government to control the situation in case of an outbreak. The Government has chartered a German vessel, which will arrive at Fort Liberté to take the President on board to-morrow; its destination is unknown, but is presumed to be Cape Haitien or Port au Prince.
