485. Editorial Note

The United States ratified the Convention on the Territorial Sea and the Contiguous Zone (15 UST 1606), the Convention on the High Seas (13 UST 2312), the Convention on Fishing and Conservation of the Living Resources of the High Seas (17 UST 138), and the Convention on the Continental Shelf (15 UST 471) on March 24, 1961. All four conventions had been signed by the United States on September 15, 1958, and had received the advice and consent of the Senate on May 26, 1960. The United States deposited its ratifications with the Secretary-General of the United Nations on April 12, 1961.
