429. For General Marshall. Thank you for your message³² regarding negotiations for Military Advisory Group. I shall be most grateful for General Gillem’s assistance in this matter. Formal instructions along the lines you suggest will be addressed to the Embassy for General Gillem’s attention and I assume that he will make such arrangements as he deems appropriate for their implementation.
