Germany
The Council of Foreign Ministers hereby decides to instruct the Allied Control Council to appoint a Committee of qualified experts [Page 902] which shall report to the four Governments by 10th August, 1946 at the latest on the following points:
- 1.
- Steps to be taken to increase the German output of coal;
- 2.
- General principles which should govern the apportionment of the German output as between domestic consumption and exports.
The Committee’s report will be discussed by the Council of Foreign Ministers before 1st September, 1946.
- This resolution was discussed by the Council of Foreign Ministers at its 41st Meeting, July 12, 1946, and was amended and approved by the Council at its 42nd Meeting, July 12.
