537. Italian Foreign Office has informed SAC⁴⁶ of a communication received from National Committee of Liberation in Northern Italy reporting a sharp increase in German atrocities in Northern Italy and has requested urgent intervention of United Nations in this matter to cause Germans to cease atrocities.

At request of SAC, the ACI^46a will consider at its next meeting scheduled for October 20 the problem of German atrocities in Northern Italy with a view to advising on means of inducing Germans to cease.
