Assurances of safe conduct for voyage of Asama Maru and Conte Verde between Japan and Lourenço Marques and return have been received from governments of Belgium, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Dominican Republic, Great Britain, Greece, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Poland, El Salvador, Soviet Union, Yugoslavia.⁵⁷
