7. The London Naval Conference 1935 opened this morning at 10:30 and followed the procedure outlined in the Embassy’s 581, November 21, 5 p.m. and 592, November 26, 6 p.m.99 Following delivery of the opening speeches the Conference resolved itself into committee of the whole called First Committee which will meet tomorrow morning at 10:30 at Clifford House. Texts of speeches being forwarded by mail.1
