70. Blanquier Cabinet, differing with the President over its program of greater political freedom and retrenchment, has resigned and resignation has been accepted. Rumors suggest men for new cabinet who are closer to President personally but who will command less confidence from public. Fear is expressed that break-down of Blanquier program will be followed by political trouble from which may come new leader, and by further economic difficulties including depreciation of currency.
