[Page 251] The two missionaries who had received notice of the cancellation of their visas are still here although the period of their original permission to remain in Sweden has expired and they have not been asked to leave the country. Have today received following note from Foreign Office in reply to request to send investigator to Utah.

“In response to this communication I have the honor to call to your attention that the Royal Government does not believe that it should accept this invitation as the conditions to be looked into are already sufficiently known from reports of persons worthy of credence who have been sent there by the Government for the purpose of giving an account of the state of affairs in the Mormon Church and community.”
