My Dear Mr. Ambassador: Answering the note submitted by you and your colleagues, Ministers Naón and Suárez, I beg to say that notice of General Huerta’s acceptance of mediation is received with satisfaction. We note what you say in regard to suspension of hostilities during mediation. We so understand it, provided of course that this Governnient would be at liberty to repel any aggression attempted.
