President Wilson to the Secretary of State
6 April, 1915.
My Dear Mr. Secretary: Thank you for showing me these.
I will keep Lansing’s note about the Thrasher case until we get the information we have asked for and until I can see and meditate upon what you are to put in writing of your own views; and will give my thoughts time to settle before allowing myself to form a conclusion. I feel, as you do, the greatest anxiety about the matter.
Faithfully Yours,
W. W.
