Presentation of Credentials: January 11, 1862
Termination of Mission: Normal relations interrupted on November 26, 1865- Commissioned during a recess of the Senate; recommissioned on July 15, 1861, after confirmation. The new Government of Peru was still unrecognized by the United States when Robinson left Peru on December 21, 1865.
