Legislation

Records at the Diplomatic Archive at the Foreign Ministry are available to the public 30 years after their creation.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 24-26 Kneza Milosa St., 11000 Belgrade, Serbia.

Procedures

Records from the period of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and before are found at the Archives of Serbia. Records from Socialist Yugoslavia and after are found at the Diplomatic Archive of the Foreign Ministry. Researchers should contact the relevant archive to inquire about access to records.

Published Documents

Though there is no systematic publication of Serbian records, the Archives have produced several thematic volumes of Yugoslav documents.
