Editorial Note

On February 19, in Tokyo, representatives of Japan, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Philippines, the Union of South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States (the latter acting for the Unified Command) signed an Agreement concerning the Status [Page 1609] of United Nations Forces in Japan, with Agreed Official Minutes and Protocol. Representatives of France and Italy signed the Agreement on April 12 and May 19, respectively. For text, see TIAS No. 2995 in 5 UST (pt. 2) 1123.
