For the texts of statements made on November 13 by Secretary of State Acheson and Ambassador Warren E. Austin at the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in Paris, opposing a Soviet proposal to include in the agenda an item on Chinese representation, see the Department of State Bulletin, December 3, 1951, page 917. The General Assembly rejected the Soviet proposal later that day.
