Mr. Dupuy de Lôme to Mr. Olney.
Boston, July 13, 1895.
Dear Mr. Secretary: I have received here the note of Mr. Adee in regard to the Mora claim.
Before leaving Washington I told Mr. Adee that I had been advised that in a very few days that long-pending question would be settled.
The Duke of Tetuan has kept me informed by cable of every step of the action taken in regard to that matter. I am sure that a very few days, no more than are necessary to comply with our internal procedure, will bring the final solution of the question.
So soon as I shall be informed of the proceedings of the cabinet meetings, I shall have the honor to communicate them to you.
Believe me, etc.,
